Open Development Platform
A New Era for Programmable Optics
Open Development Platform Key Features
The Open Development Platform (ODP) allows sensor manufacturers and module makers to customize hardware and software components using a modular subsystems approach. This reduces design cycle times from 18 months to as little as 3-6 months. The platform supports modular configurations of lasers, ToF sensors, optics, processors, and interfaces, enabling the creation of optimized products tailored to specific applications.
The ODP is compatible with most iToF and dToF receivers.

Open Development Platform Usage
An open development platform is designed to facilitate the end customer’s system evaluation process. It includes an open software stack in source format. The hardware design files development license is solely for end-customer evaluation.
Out of the Box
ODP Developers need to quickly set up the necessary tools and hardware to evaluate and learn about the new ODP Platform. The ODP comes fully functional with all boards instrumented, providing customers with a baseline performance of the system. The system includes an MD42 ToF Sensor board and a fully functional Host Software stack that can be extended via APIs for higher-level software development. The Development Kit includes software, cables, and a power supply to simplify the setup process, allowing developers to focus on their applications.
